We don't have to, but all offices have them. However, most offices don't water efficient models. With Earth Day coming right up, one green gift to give your office is nice new fresh urinals. (Well, in the men's room anyhow). So far as I know, the ladies still prefer to sit.
In any case KOHLER has been hard at work creating some urinals that can save water and money. You can even go touchless flush, if your office guys get squeamish about touching the handles.
Steward L waterless urinal: This urinal is huge and could save you an estimated, tens of thousands of gallons of water each year. Impressive. This urinal may even earn you Water Efficiency points in the LEED Green Building Rating System, so if you're building or remodeling green this is a good way to go. It comes in a range of colors from basic white to ice gray to black. Perfect for even the fanciest of offices.
Bardon Touchless Urinal: Another LEED water points earned, but touchless of course. At 0.5 gallons per flush you'll be saving lots o' water. I think it resembles a large soap dispenser, but looks aside I'm all for office fixtures that save resources and money. It's not something I'd be seeing anyway I suppose.
