A few days ago Corporate Express US Inc. announced their brand new virtual 2008 Sourcebook catalog. This new virtual catalog will feature over 12,000 products for the office or other workplaces. Items such as office supplies, office furniture, facility and break room supplies, technology equipment, and more will be featured.
Virtual, to me sounds like "online shopping," but there actually is a difference. Corporate Express points out, that while many people already shop online, they still enjoy flipping through a paper catalog. This new virtual shopper will mimic a paper book, but with enhanced features such as, "Intuitive navigation, keyword searching, a page bookmark feature, virtual sticky notes to tag products, robust product viewing tools, online shopping lists, a real-time shopping cart, web reporting and more."
So, really it's like flipping though your paper catalog, without the paper waste, and you don't have to wonder what page you saw that cool stapler on anymore.
