How to create a better office environment with furniture, supplies, and products

On Sunday (March 30th) UK clocks go forward 1 hour to British Summer Time. However, National Office Week is calling on the government to fix the clocks permanently to British Summer Time (BST) and end the time change. They site some problems that can occur when the clocks creep forward.

According to National Office Week, "The arguments for changing the clock each year are diminishing whilst the arguments for change are gathering increasing momentum. Not only would it put the UK on a time zone parity with mainland Europe, which would suit the business community, it would considerably reduce the nation's carbon footprint as well as put an end to the misery caused by leaving and arriving home in darkness which affects millions of workers throughout the UK."

It's hard for me to realistically say what I think. Living in the U.S. I'm not that affected (obviously) by UK time. I'm curious what everyone else thinks though. Does this affect you? Are you for or against a permanent BST?

National Office Week is hosting an online petition that's already received 40,000 signatures so it would seem that stopping the clocks is a popular idea. 

My other point of this post is to actually point out the stellar website that National Office Week has going on. I don't frequent office sites across the pond, mainly because I'm not going to find a deal that needs to ship this far. However, this is a very cool website.  Their tagline, "Making office life gorgeous" clues you in to what's in store. Lunch ideas, office decor, deals on supplies, office supply company bios, and way more. I really loved this site. Many neat office tidbits, even if you don't live in the UK. I'd hit it.
