For the Mac lovers out there, it's time to drool. Apple just released their updated Mac Pro. Starting at close to $3,000 this machine will cost you; but the benefits will perk up your business in the long-run, making it worth your money.
According to Macworld, who spoke with Apple vice pres, David Moody, the new "Dream machine" Mac offers, "Two times the performance of previous (Mac) products.” Nice.
Some specs include:
- The newest Quad-Core Intel Xeon “Harpertown” processors. This means 3.2GHz speeds. You've never worked faster.
- 12MB of L2 cache
- 61% increase in memory throughput.
- Too many processor perks to name.
- High-performance graphics cards from ATI and NVIDIA, for graphic delights. Mac Pro is offering various high-end versions of the already high-end cards as well, depending on your needs you can pump up the graphic specs of your Mac Pro.
- Up to 4TB storage, when you install four 1TB Serial ATA 3Gb/s drives.
- 2 double-layer burners. Less time burning your discs!
