
I thought we should make Mondays a day with at least one health & wellness post here at Office Stuffer. You're fresh off the weekend, tired, maybe you've picked up that winter cold or flu going around. In any case, it's a great time for office wellness tips.
Today some healthy snacks. Many of these foods can fight off fatigue, prevent illness, and help you feel recharged - that's way better than the junk you find in vending machines.
For your office snacks try...
Homemade guacamole and whole wheat crackers: Avocados are full of glutathione, an antioxidant. Plus is considered a cancer fighting food by the American Heart Association, and offers large amounts of potassium and beta-carotene.
Figs – in studies, fig juice, actually killed bacteria. Yikes, maybe you should wash your hands with fig juice too. (no, don’t).
A few other options chock full of healthy immune building goodies – raspberries, carrots, nuts (almost all types), green tea, and tapioca.
