So, I'm browsing my feeds the other day when I run into this sad situation over at Cult of Mac.
Did I say sad? I meant nightmare situation. Of course I worry more about my laptop keyboard because obviously there'll be big fat issues the day I spill on that. Still, I don't relish my other keyboard painted in coffee either.
What can you do about keyboard spills at the office?:
- First don't eat at, over, or within a few feet of your keyboard. Stop laughing! I know, I do it too. We should move on to #2
- Get a good keyboard cover.
- Now, over at Cult of Mac, they're talking about running the keyboard through the dishwasher. Can you do this? I don't know. To be honest I'd never heard this before. I went to investigate and many people say yes, try it. But NPR says no. As a huge NPR fan I'm going to believe them.

- Lastly, have a spare. It may not be your beloved favorite keyboard but typing on your laptop keyboard when you're not used to it, or not having a keyboard period is going to slow work down.
