Early December Office Link Love

What's cool to read for office minded folks this first week of December? I have plenty of ideas.

candy_03%20180x135.jpgContest: The ever cool ThinkPad Team is running a ThinkPad Most Mileage Contest. If I had a video camera right now I'd be so on this contest. To win, you simply need to enter a 2 -4 minute video for their contest theme of “most mileage.” The winner gets a ThinkPad X Series notebook -- so slick. If you win come tell me so I can weep over not winning; oh, I mean, congratulate you :)

Good office packaging: Susan over at Marketing Blurb has a great post about Eco-Friendly Packaging -- her post covers companies like Wesson. While you may not be shipping oil your office likely does send something out to clients so make sure your packaging reflects how you'd like your office to be seen.

Safety with the Office tree: If your office has a holiday tree than be sure to read up on these handy tree safety tips from Julie at the Family Resource blog.

Got a Mac?: The Mac experts at Macworld have the 411 on the fastest portable Mac to date; a custom-built MacBook Pro. It it worth it? Go find out.

Shipping issues go green: Green Supply Chains – A CEO’s Handbook is a brand new handbook that answers some basic yet, key questions your company needs toto know in order to move your supply chains towards green supply chains visit Global Supply Chain Group to learn more.

How remarkable is your office?: Customers Are Always, reports that, "Being Remarkable Isn't An Option" I agree. It's hard to stand out but that's not the option is it? Rather you do need to stand out as a business. If that's not enough to get you over there for a read then go for the killer Seth Godin video (love him!).

Read something great: The Steelcase blog Workit has the best article on office space that I've read in a long while. The article, Space as Strategy… is such a great read, covering all sorts of pertinent office design issues. Such as, how your office space works to lure new recruits (or not), how to personalize with art, and why your office space should work for employees -- not the other way around. A wonderful piece that will make you think about your office in a new light.

Seen something amazing lately? Will it benefit office employees? Tell us about it in the comments.
