On Friday, CNET posted that CompUSA is closing up shop. Bad news for the CompUSA company, who has experienced problems this last year.
About half the CompUSA store were shut down this last March due to continued competition from other biggies in the computer, tech, gadget business like Best Buy and Circuit City.
The good news is really for people or businesses looking to get gear at dirt cheap prices. As with any going out of business deal, CompUSA is expected to have some major close-out sales.
The stores will remain open through the holiday shopping season allowing consumers to reap in some great savings on computers and related gear.
Visit CompUSA online to see what kind of deals you can find. I'm actually a CompUSA boycotter because I have issues with them (long story) but if you can snag a great deal I won't hold it against you. So far I see that they've got some good prices on laptops. Check it out.
