Today Palm announced their new Ruby Red Centro. If you’re into Palm this is a good deal over the basic black. I’m not so much the red fan but this is a nice sort of deep cherry color. It’ll add some pop to the office in any case. Like the basic Centro you can use this for work or play. It’s not as sophisticated for high detailed work (such as my pda can make groovy graphs) but will get the job done for most office workers.
What the Ruby Red Centro can help you with at work with all the basics; phone, IM, text, and email plus speaker phone.
Other perks:
- ‘Broadband like speed’ – you know that’s not a very technical term is it. I suppose they mean it’s super fast. Also you’ve got a built in browser and Google maps. Never be late for an appointment again because you get lost on the way there.
- Contacts; addresses, the bosses birthday, or maybe even the phone numbers of possible employers.
- Memos; no more stickies because you can save memo notes on your Palm.
- Sync it all with your home or work computer.
- Tasks; jot down your to-do list and even check items off as you complete them.
Are you a Palm user or do you prefer another personal assistant? I've considered Palm before but there are just more programs available for my iPAQ so...
