How to create a better office environment with furniture, supplies, and products

Alright there's been all this internet buzz about the new phone from Palm. Is it the new Centro smartphone? Nope, not according to the Official Palm Blog anyway.

Not being a palm lover myself I’m still a little intrigued but not too much.

With the whole recent Apple iPod fiasco it’s looking like the all inclusive phone technology is here to stay. Personally I’m a little bored. Do we need to be this hooked in at all times? I’m not so sure. Whatever happened to actually talking to people face-to-face?

 

Why talk when you can text the guy in the next cubicle (tell me again why the world is so overweight). It may have something to do with the fact that movement of any kind is no longer required for information gathering. Next thing you know Apple’s going to somehow integrate a mini-fridge into a phone and then we won’t even have to go to the water cooler. I know, far fetched but not by much.

Here’s a novel idea; I say the next time you need to talk to a co-worker you suggest a jaunt to the nearest park.

Maybe hold an office meeting outside at a picnic table (on a non-windy day of course). Have an office event that doesn’t take place inside a stuffy room but at a beach or ski slope.
