How to create a better office environment with furniture, supplies, and products

No messy cords! No computer tower!

That’s right, the smart folks at Space2 have come up with a solution to the everlasting stream of cords and wires office workers fight on a daily basis. They created the Powerdesk which solves all those messy desk issues.

Each desk comes with a built in Dell computer (it’s hidden inside the desk) so wires and cords going to and fro are eliminated. The only thing you’ll see on the actual desk is a monitor, keyboard, and mouse – and maybe those stacks of papers you need to sort.

Powerdesk comes equipped with a new technology called Freemote which allows you to control everything with the simple click of the Freemote remote control. This is obviously not a desk for individuals who constantly lose the remote. Still, if you don’t lose things often Powerdesk can help you clean up your act. The only problem I see is if you happen to be a Mac user or hate Dell (damn customer service issues) but I wonder if there are more Powerdesk-like products out there for people like that. I’ll have to look into it.

The desks aren’t actually that expensive and come in four flavors of designs; you can get chairs as well. Go check out Space2 and see what you think. I like their website – they sell much more than desks.
