I know, the last post was about love too. Maybe I'm just feeling that a good dose of summer romance is in order. Plus, come on, how many office blogs do you see with a love focus? Just for today bear with me. Tomorrow no love stuff, I promise. I'll try to find office products full of despair or hate; something like that.
But back to the love. Have you seen the new Toshiba ads? I just did today in my fresh copy of WIRED Magazine. You know what the new ad reminds me of..the killer Get A Mac ads. You know the one with the lamer PC guy and the less lame Mac guy. I think the ads are really good. As a PC girl through and through, I think I want an Apple every time I see the ad.
Because I can't show you the Toshiba ad here (darn flash) go visit the Toshiba Let the Harmony Begin page and see what I mean. They're featuring a hippie looking fellow holding hands with a suit wearing fellow and they chat about office equipment. The chat is actually pretty funny. The ad features other hand holding opposites as well.
If you can make it through the site to the products page you can see all the new and old office equipment they have available. Toshiba's been selling office products for a while now. A while back I was talking to pal about document security in the healthcare sector (yes, sometimes I am very boring) and mentioned some Toshiba article I'd seen about it and he said, "I thought Toshiba only made TVs."
Well, they don't only make TVs, they have printers, copiers, document solutions and more. They wrote a whole downloadable book about it. If you're in the market for a new office solution they have a nice product selector you can use as well.
Anyhow, the new ad reminded me that the Toshiba site is one place to find the bigger items necessary to run an office. Just thought I'd mention it. Maybe you knew this already. Maybe, like my friend you didn't. Still, I think if more people were visiting the Toshiba office site they wouldn't have had to go to a new level of love based advertising.
Does your office own a Toshiba anything (besides a TV)? How's that working out for you?
