How to create a better office environment with furniture, supplies, and products

I killed my office.  

If you read my post earlier today then you know I'm in the middle of an office re-organizing / re-design.

Currently, I'm surprised I can even type (or stay calm) as I'm wedged between two shelves with no clear path to the door. I may be trapped. In that case, there's a good possibility I'll be posting much more often.

Seriously it's not good. I did however, in-between the last post and my rampant room demolishing activity, find some great sites for home office design ideas.

You can also search by item like storage, desk, lamp, and more. there's plenty of good stuff to keep you busy and give you ideas. 

Lifehack has a great article on how to design a productive home office. They've got some clever tips on colors that stimulate as well.  

Here's a helpful article I found on designing your space around your work habits. There's some obvious tips that I always forget. Such as check to make sure you have an outlet before putting all your electrical equipment on one wall. I did not like any of the office pictures in this article but the tips were useful.

WIRED has a cool home office kit for your yard. It's a little more extravagant than I was thinking but still it's wicked cool -- especially if you've got a good sized yard. Talk about keeping away distractions.

Alright, back to the grind; if I can get out of here that is.
