According to an article in the September 2006 issue of Martha Stewart Living magazine, the least expensive days to fly are often Tuesdays and Thursdays. Good to know if you are on a budget (and who isn't?) and you have some flexibility in your travel dates.
Considering that many business travellers leave on a Sunday night or Monday morning and return Friday evening, it makes sense that there would be less demand (and therefore lower prices) mid-week. I wonder what it is about Wednesday that didn't make the cut?
