Ran across Stooples.com, a satirical website that pokes not-so-gentle fun at a well-known office supply chain. Using similar web design and graphics as the big chain, creators Kevin Reifler, Nick Vacca and Adam Najberg parody office supply giant Staples. Oh, perhaps I'm wrong about that, because on the disclaimer page it says "Names of individuals and companies appearing on this site have been fabricated and bear no similarity to real individuals or companies...Any similarity to real people or companies is coincidental." Ok, I stand corrected, they're not satirizing Staples.
Stooples offers an array of office essentials like "Sissy Wrist Rests", and thoughtful promotions such as the special "Buy Nothing, Get Abuse Heaped On You" offer. For more biting commentary, check out Stooples policy on Child Labor Practices
And should you be offended by some of the more tasteless content, the editors make it clear that "Stooples.com couldn't care less about what you think of our site. That's why we attach no links or comment forms and have no "contact us" buttons." Ya gotta admit, that's pretty funny.
