One of the few down-sides to having a home-based office is that when something affects your office building, it necessarily affects your home as well. I had one of those experiences this week.
Having just completed our landscaping, hubby and I are standing back admiring our new driveway and cobblestone patios. Literally the first vehicle up the new driveway is from a certain 4-syllable courier company. Trying to turn around in our measly half-acre parking area (well, maybe not half-acre but it is plenty big), the driver first backs into our stone retaining wall and then accelerates forward over our newly installed paving stone patio and sidewalk, displacing the stones. Then he drives away without acknowledging the damage.
Argh! Small package, big truck and a damaged paving stone sidewalk add up to one annoyed customer.
