In fact, the company's Official Blogging Guide encourages authors to be "opinionated, maverick and sometimes irreverent".
Cool. A job where I get paid for being opinionated. I can go for that.
In fact, there's only one rule, and I quote:
You have been selected to cover a topic relating to business. So as lovable as your cat may be, please leave any feline ramblings for a different forum.
Oh my. That's pretty heavy-handed. I'm not sure I can comply.
You see, my cats are part of my office. So I really would not do this job justice if I didn't talk about them from time to time. And post their adorable pictures (that's Loony above). Sorry boss, but that's just me being opinionated, maverick and definitely irrelevant. Oh, I meant irreverent.

Kidding. Talk about your cats whenever you like - I'm sure they're always getting into your office supplies and have interesting perspectives to share on the relative usefulness of different supply items :).
