
OK, according to my boss here at KnowMoreMedia my first task as the new author for OfficerStuffer.com is to write an "author profile". I take that to mean I'm supposed to provide some kind of rationale as to why they hired me to write this blog.
So what have I done in my life besides playing with my grandmother's office supplies?
Well, besides the two years I spent in prison (that is, working in a cubicle in an office tower in downtown Vancouver), I've been a self-employed human resource management consultant and small business coach all my working life.
Oh, there was that five years I spent teaching business management at a university, but that felt like self-employment because the academic environment has so much autonomy.
I've got a bunch of letters that I can put behind my name when I'm in the mood:
MPA (Masters in Public Administration).
CHRP (Certified Human Resouces Professional...or maybe it's Canadian Human Resources Professional, I can never remember).
IAC-CC (International Association of Coaches Certified Coach)
Is that enough? Do I qualify? Can I go back to talking about office stuff now?
